Refund Policy

The Policy Journal of Social Science Review (PJSSR) understands that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and offers the following refund policy for submitted manuscripts:

1. Eligibility for Refunds:

• Manuscript Withdrawal Before Review: Authors are eligible for a full refund if they withdraw their manuscript before it is assigned to reviewers for the initial review process.
• Manuscript Withdrawal During Review: A partial refund of 50% will be issued if the manuscript is withdrawn after it has been assigned to reviewers but before the review process is completed.
• Manuscript Rejection: No refund will be issued for manuscripts that are rejected after the review process is completed.

2. Reasons for Refund:

Refunds will only be issued for the following reasons:

• Technical Issues: If the PJSSR online submission system malfunctions and prevents authors from submitting their manuscript, a full refund will be issued.
• Duplicate Payment: If authors are charged twice for the same submission, the duplicate payment will be refunded.
• Editorial Error: If an error by the PJSSR editors or staff results in the rejection of a manuscript that would otherwise have been accepted, a full refund will be issued.

3. Refund Process:

• The request must specify the reason for the refund and include the manuscript ID number.
• Once the request is reviewed and approved, the refund will be processed within 30 business days. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the submission fee.
