Abstract

As the research uncovers a generally uplifting perspective, it likewise uncovers the tapestry of different opinions concerning the portrayal of women in television dramas by emphasizing the difficulties of this method. Hence, the respondents emphasize a requirement for diverse and nuanced character portrayals. The study highlights the extraordinary impact of television dramas on university students, serving as a catalyst for awareness and change in women's empowerment. These findings provide important experiences for advocates, educators, and content creators looking to harness the capability of the media to manage a positive cultural change (Ali et al., 2021).
